The Photo Shots :
The Bell of San Miguel Minor Basilica

This is one of the biggest bell that can be found in philippine churches.According to some historians, the bell was used in the spanish era for welcoming visitors from the spanish Galleon. The sound of the bell was loud enough to be heard by visitors in the Tayabas Port ( now lucena port ).
I took this photo sometime in 1993.

The Basilica Seal

This sign can only be seen in basilica churches in the philippines . This seal only proves that not only filipinos are recognizing this church, also the Vatican in Rome. The chucrch was declared as a Minor Basilica last Jan 21, 1986.
I took this photo sometime in 1993.

The Spanish Seal

This can be found in the main entrance of the church.According to historians this was a spanish seal given by the king of spain to recognize a church.
I took this photo sometime in 1993.

The Franciscan Seal

This a symbol of Francican frays who lead the parish on the hispanic era. Thi symbolizes the unity of Christ and San Francisco de Asis. The seal can be found in wall of the basilica fronting the alitao river.
