Sometime in 1947, a nightly " miraculous glowing " of the iron cross on the top of the cupola of the Minor Basilica of St. Michael Archangel was observed by the people of Tayabas.

This was another church in Tayabas where people celebrates the "Turumba de Tayabas" every summer.
